The Spring Tea is a wonderful event the women of SEC enjoy each year. Hostesses set their tables and welcome women to join them for a morning of "girly" food, fun, and of course -tea!

Sharon Warren is a long-time resident of Oregon where she grew up the youngest of three children in Portland. She is the mother of two sons and in the last four years has become a grandmother to three with one more on the way. Her wonderful husband, Doug, suffered from a debilitating illness for many years and went to be with the Lord in 2004. After graduation from college, her passion was to make a difference in people’s lives led her to join a full-time ministry on college campuses where she worked with students in evangelism and discipleship. Later, Sharon became an educator and more recently retired from her position as a school principal. Sharon has had a life-long struggle with shyness, yet has learned how to submit this weakness to God and receive His power to do what she naturally can’t do. Sharon’s mission in life is to use her gifts for teaching and building relationships to encourage and inspire other to a life of deepening connection with God.
