OVERFLOW is our Sr High ministry at Salem Evangelical Church. Our desire is that by being apart of our church family our students would be filled up to overflowing with God's love and grace and to see their life in Christ OVERFLOW into every aspect of their lives!

The staff and volunteer leaders are committed to creating a welcoming, loving environment, where all High School students are invited to discover their unique, God-given identities, and challenged to live those identities out in their everyday lives.

We have amazing opportunities each week, for students to worship, learn, play, pray and serve together in real community. Whether you’ve been in the church your whole life, or if you’ve never stepped foot in one, we’ve got a place for you here. Wherever you are on your journey, we’re here to walk alongside you, and to help you take your next step in knowing and following Jesus.

When and where we meet:

Sunday AM: 11am-12:15pm in the Activity Center

Sunday PM: 6-7pm in the Activity Center

Wednesday's: 7-8pm in the Activity Center

In the Word:

It is difficult for people to stay on track with their relationship with God. One of the primary ways to make sure that we are really pursuing Him is to be in His Word on a consistent basis. Even then many people don't know where to start or they feel like they can't keep up with most of the Bible reading plans out there. In the "Downloads" section of this page, you'll find a "Two Year Bible Reading Plan". This is just a tool. As with other tools, it only works when you use it. The emphasis with this Bible Reading plan is not to see how many chapters you can read in a day, but rather to see how much time you can spend in God's presence. Read slowly through the daily select passages of scripture in order to fill your mind with God's Word. Remember, this is not a race. It is all about spending time in the presence of God. He is the One Who transforms us into who He wants us to be!

God promises that when we meditate on His Word and obey it that we "will prosper and succeed in whatever" we do. (Joshua 1:8)
