Classroom locations!
Here in Acorn Acres the children are divided into age appropriate classrooms. Each room is staffed with loving, caring volunteers who are dedicated to sharing God’s Love with your child. Mobility is the main thing for advancing our Babies from the Nursery to the Weebles then to the Toddlers while we try to group our 2-5 year olds according to their school year. “Move-up” dates are usually in September and January. Look for the correct animal signs in the hall to help you find the right room. First time visitors can go to the Glen by the Weebles and Toddlers to have your questions answered. Just look for the recessed area on the right surrounded by oak trees!
Sunday Mornings 9:15 and 11:00am
EAGLES NEST - (Nursery) - Birth to starting to crawl - Located on the main hallway. There is a private entrance and room for Nursing Mothers just around the corner.*
SQUIRRELS in the Glen (Rm 106) - Weebles: Crawling, scooting, able to sit up on their own. The Glen in located on the right side, midway down the main hall of Acorn Acres.
RACCOONS in the Glen (Rm 105) - Toddlers: Steady walkers to 23 months
CHIPMUNK CORNER - Twos (Rm 101) - Children age 2 - The entrance to our two year olds room is located just outside the double doors to our main hall, right on the corner!
HONEY BEAR DEN - Threes (Rm 102) - Children age 3 - Second door down on your left.
RIBBIT PASS - Fours/Fives (Rm 103) - 4 & 5 years old - Hop on just past the Bears on the left and join the Frogs!
OWL’S PERCH - Kindergarten (Rm 104) - Children entering Kindergarten Fall of 2010 - Enter through the last door on the left.
Our Sunday Morning 9:15am Sunday School Curriculum is published by Gospel Light. Our second hour is currently studying GOD MADE THE WORLD. While 9:15 is slightly more structured, you will find Bible stories, singing and worship, hands on activities and much more during both hours. *NURSING MOTHERS
A private room for Nursing Mothers is located in our main nursery. Access this room through a private door off the main hall. Live video feed of our woship service is available so you won't miss a minute of worship. Snacks and water as well as a changing area can be found in this special room. Nursing Mothers only, please!
Sunday Evenings Ranger Station 6:00-7:00pm
Special moments happen on Sunday evening during Prayer service. All the action takes place down our main hall where some classes are grouped together. Sunday evenings are designed to help our children learn practical applications to our Bible lessons through puppets, guided play, hands on take home papers and of course snacks!

Wednesday Evenings Treehouse 6:45-8:00pm
September through July are busy on Wednesday nights here in Acorn Acres! Our talented teachers and helpers bring alive Biblical lessons like the Fruit of the Spirit and the Ten Commandments. Check our "What are we learning now?" page for up to date information on what each class is studying! All action takes place down our main hall.
