Infants

Welcome to the Eagle's Nest!

We know how hard it can be to leave your brand-new little one in someone else's care.  Here at Salem E. we try to make that transition as painless as possible!  Welcoming arms will meet you at the check in counter where you can pick up a pager and leave exact instructions on the care of your child.  Our goal is to nuture your child while you nuture your soul.  You can relax and know you are only a page away while your infant is in a safe, loving environment!  Once your infant starts being mobile they will move up to the Weebles, where they will get the same quality care.

NURSING MOTHERS

A private room for Nursing Mothers is located in our main nursery.  Access this room through a private door off the main hall.  There is live video feed from the Sanctuary available so you won't miss worship or the sermon.  Snacks and water as well as a changing area can be found in this special room.  Nursing Mothers only, please!

Baby Dedication

We call it Baby Dedication, but perhaps Parent’s Commitment is a better name for what we are celebrating.  During the dedication service parents dedicate their children to God and commit themselves to raising their child in a Godly home. This commitment is affirmed by the church body, who also commit to support and encourage the parents as they seek God’s will in raising their children and guide them toward spiritual maturity.  Keep your eyes and ears open as dates are announced both from the pulpit and in the bulletin.

Dedication of Older Children

Children of all ages are welcomed to be dedicated to the Lord here at Salem E.    If you have any questions about Dedications or Baptism, please call the Church Office at 503-581-0102.
