Happy New Year!
Well its a new year and we are well on our way to be being settled back here in Oregon. Its been a huge adjustment but we have seen the Lord work in so many ways, its overwhelmingly amazing. Nate started seminary at George Fox two weeks ago and is really enjoying it. His headaches and body aches arent bad every day and we thank the Lord for those good days. The girls just finished their first half of the school year and are doing great. Chelsea has started playing the keyboard during worship for the Sr High youth group at church, although she doesnt turn the sound up too high. She also has started back with piano lessons and in the near future will occasionally play Sunday mornings at our church. Emily has taken up the violin and is enjoying that. I am looking for a job at the moment. I was waiting till the holidays were over and now they are so here I am filling out applications.
Some people have asked about my father, so here is a little update - My father stayed out of the hospital for almost 8 weeks over the holidays and we are all appreciative of that time the Lord allowed us to have with our dad. Two weeks ago he was put in the hospital for complications from the medication and stayed for a week. He was given results from his blood work this last Friday(Jan. 25) and the outlook is not good. His cancer(igg) counts are higher now then they ever have been and the Drs want to try another form of chemotherapy. We are all praying for my parents as they decided what to do.
Isaiah 64:4
Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him.
