Building Update

Praise God! We are about to reach substantial completion and occupancy of the New Children's Center. Months and weeks have turned into only days, Lord willing, for our church family to acquire access and begin using this wonderful place God has provided for classes and other activities. All glory and honor to our loving and faithful Father!

What an exciting phase we are entering into in this building journey! As progress toward final completion continues, anticipation and enthusiasm grows. More and more people have begun to recognize and appreciate what an AMAZING facility this will be for our Salem Evangelical Church family and the entire Salem/Keizer community!

Throughout the inside of the building, several tradesmen continue their work, applying finishing products and materials, but mostly just concluding their responsibilities. If there are no significant "hiccups" and all goes as is currently planned, occupancy will be approved by the City of Salem and access to our New Children's Center acquired prior to Christmas. Only God could have arranged such a timely gift! This will kick the transition for use into high gear, which will culminate in dedication activities during both services on Sunday, January 3.

While the building will be substantially completed by Christmas, work will continue both inside and out through January. As you can imagine, there are countless details that will need to be addressed and attended to for final closure. What an enormous blessing to have a quality team of individuals working together so effectively. The excellence and professionalism of this group remains invaluable, as it appears the project will finish significantly within the allotted construction schedule and budget!

God's abundant grace has been so evident and humbling as every component of construction has come together for our New Children's Center. THANK YOU to all who continue to prayerfully support this effort! Please keep praying for God's protection over the safety and efficiency of everyone involved as we all endeavor to finish strong!
