Building Update

We are pleased to announce that we have had a very successful week in spite of the weather and the holiday breaks.  As all can see, we have poured several of the footings for the new Children’s Center.  For those that are curious, the first pour was 285 yards of concrete.  We wish to thank those that worked so hard to put this milestone behind us.  Without the efforts of Patrick Murphy (jobsite Superintendent), Scott (Salem Concrete) and Benji (Santiam Steel) and their long hours, this pour would not have happened until the following week.  Good job, Guys!

We now have all of our permits and approved plans for the new building.  The building committee reps will be given a copy of the construction schedule at the weekly job site meetings.  We also have a set budget and we are actively signing contracts to secure our sub-contractors for all divisions of work on this project.

As you pray for the project over the next few months, please ask for continued relief from extreme weather conditions.  Please also ask for protection over the workers who are building this project for the glory of our Lord.

The Pro-Construct, Inc. team along with the architect and the sub-contractors are continuing to explore every avenue in the building process to find Value Engineering to further save the church money.  We are committed to delivering a beautiful and functional building while still preserving the budget.
