Letter from Pastor Randy

As Pastor at Salem Evangelical Church, I am excited to tell you about what we can offer you and your family.

• We have an incredible Children's program. Sunday School, field trips, Pioneer Clubs during the school year and Kids Clubs during the summer, choir, drama, children's church, summer camps, and lots of positive kids and volunteers to motivate your child, all under our director, Pastor Judi Larsen.
• We have an equally bursting Mid High program with classes on Wednesdays and Sundays, regular activities, camps and a committed staff led by Pastor Kevin Bowder, director of the Mid High. Your child will love our gymnasium used for many activities during the year.
• We have a fantastic Senior High. They too have classes, prayer groups, campus ministries, activities, summer and winter camps, along with a great staff led by Pastor Garrett VanHess. Your teen will be excited to come to church.
• Our College Group is led by Pastor Ryan Thorson and meets every Sunday at 9:15. Also, they have a calendar full of activities, meaningful for college level students!
• We have an impressive Christian Education Department led by Pastor Jim Tusant. We have modified age level classes on Sunday morning along with discipleship classes. We have Wednesday night electives ranging from Bible Classes, to parenting classes, to dealing with anger and stress, to financial planning. The night begins with a buffet at 6 pm in our gym for only $4.
• Karen Palmer leads our Music Ministries. If you love music, you will want to be here on Sunday mornings. The music is very much annointed by the Lord. Perhaps you would like to be part of a church choir. Come give us a try! Our worship on Sundays is outstanding--we love to sing, pray, and worship the Lord.

I invite you to both the morning and evening services. In the morning service I share from the Bible a message that will touch your life. In the evening we praise God through prayer and we pray for our needs and the needs of those we love.
